I assume you are referring to a late model Tiffin gasser......

It contains the HDMI or HDMI / Cat6 splitters (depending on the year) for the DVD and (optional) Satellite dish. The splitters get hot, and known to be failure prone due to heat build up on the unit or power supplies. We keep ours turned off (the "light switch on the front controls power for the splitters and a cooling fan) unless we are watching Sat. TV or DVD.

I am going to add some more ventilation at some point for the box, just have to decide what I want to do.....
