Buying 2005 Allegro 32A

I am considering buying a 2005 Allegro 32A. I have been communicating with the owner and he has assured me that everything is in fine condition and he took to the dealer to have a complete check over before posting it. I will be traveling 350 miles to look at it and don't want to miss anything.
Are there any particular issues with this year and model. It is the Ford drive train with 33,000 miles, new tires, batteries, air compressor and dryer for the cab. Engine and generator serviced.
He is asking - firm $39,900.
I'm very mechanical, but certain things like checking engine compression can't be done by me, especially at the owners home.

might get owner to take pictures of mh and send them to you, so you can see what it looks like. Also, might ask that belts and hoses be replaced at owners expense to seal the deal. Dave

Good idea on belts and hoses, I spoke with him today and he said that he will take care of them right away whether I buy or someone else. I have about 20 pictures that he took. Looks better - in pictures - than anything that I have looked at.
Going to see it on Tuesday the 20th.

It doesn't have the Ford drivetrain, but the Chevy 8.1 and I suppose the Allison 6 speed which is a great transmission.

If its the WH chassis, ask him if the Brake recall has been done.

Also it probably has the 5 speed and not the 6 speed
