Buying 2010/11 Allegro Red 38 QBA ?

Upgrading from 2010 32BA to an Allegro Red 38QBA. Have found both 2010 & 2011 that fit the bill. Both units w/mileage in the 30's and besides the $$ issue equally same deal. 1st timer with a DP so would greatly appreciate some input. DEF vs No DEF ?? Thoughts from owners about power with the 340 HP? Any issues known or what to look for? Leaning towards the 2011!
Thanks in advance!!!

A member of our camping club has a 2011 - he had 2 moderately expensive repairs 1. had to have genorater rebuilt at $3,800, because it wasn't run much and 2. the power transfer switch at $500. Other than those repairs he has had good service out of it.

I would vote for DEF - engines actually have less addon pollution control stuff added to them. DEF engines tend to have higher horsepower as well.

Have the roof rails inspected carefully on that model year. If you see a series of light vertical scratches along the roof where it curves over onto the side of the coach, you will need to have Tiffin repair the roof (it's free).

We've been looking at the same model and years. Do you have any updates? Have you found or purchased one yet? What's your experience been so far? Thanks in advance for the info!
