buying used Tiffin

Hello everyone, my wife and myself will be retiring very shortly and will be buying our 2nd RV. Obviously there are quite a few questions I could ask but I'll start with this: We've decided on Tiffin for what seems tp be a top of the line motorhome. The model will probably be a Phaeton (used). The question is I am looking at a Phaeton Diesel 40QDH which is priced at 132K with 33k miles 2008.... Now with a new model 20-30% of MSRP seems to be a starting point, Now what in your minds would be a starting point for this model? Thanks so much in advance.......

First to use that 20-30 percent off MSRP you would need the MSRP of that year model...the MH is now 8 years old, I think I would start closer to 100k myself for an offer, maybe less, Have you looked at what this model is listed for in thr Black Book and NADA ?

2018 Allegro Bus 37AP
2014 Phaeton 40 QBH (sold)
2018 Jeep Recon

Yes I have looked at what NADA states the value should be ( I guess the bluebook of RV's ? ) Anyway the figure closer to 100k is what I was thinking......tks so much

Check listings for sale at PPL in Houston, and other large consignment firms. You might look at the Allegro Bus as well, you would like the extra HP. Also on an 08 model your tires are out of life so factor about 4 grand in the deal for those. Long term you will be happy with the Tiffin decision, we were.
