California smog certified

We are considering purchasing a 2012 Allegro Open Road 35QBA from a private person in TX. Does anyone know if Allegros are 50 state certified for smog emissions?

Being that the chassis producer , doesn't know where the RV will be sold , best guess is that the engine is approved for use in all 50 states.
But for 100% confirmation , you'd need the engine serial number.
Then a call to Cummins ??

Open Road will be on a Ford Chassis and it should be Cali certified.

Thanks guys. I did email the owner and asked him to check the emissions label by the engine. “Lt” Dan; military or LE?

If it is a diesel, that size unit (goes by GVW) should be CA smog exempt.

When we lived in CA you had to get a vehicle smogged when it reached the 5 year old point.
F53 Ford chassis is qualified for 50 state use.

I work for an rv dealer with stores in AZ and CA. We routinely move motorhomes between our dealerships telling me they're all built to the same emissions standards.
