Buy a ScanGaugeII it reads codes plus many other gauges you can use.

If you have a Freightliner chassis, you already have the equivalent of the Scan Gauge in your MMDC display. If you are looking to find where the hook up plugs are to read trouble codes, there is one under the dash behind (forward) and to the left of the steering column and another in the rear engine compartment just as you open the engine bay doors. Both are round a bit bigger than a quarter and have light grey caps. Some limited troubleshooting can be done by blink codes, but not much. If you have a Spartan or Tiffin Powerglide chassis, someone else needs to help.

Obviously I'm not sure what you're asking. You need to be a lot more specific about your questions so the answer you need can be provided.

Pigman1 -
I do have a freightshaker on a 2003 phaeton. But I have tried to find the plug forward and to the left of the steering column to no avail. Could it be hiding someplace I have not looked? Would really like more help to find it so I can order the hardware from Rv Upgrades for Silverleaf (I have the software part done)....do not know if it is 6 pin or 9 pin.

Any help from any tiffin owner appreciated - a little old lady in DE.

I got ours yesterday in the mail direct from Linear Logic. I signed up for delivery as soon as they released the D. Right off it found a code. I am a little dissapointed there was no manual with it and none on their website.
I need some time to play with it and a source to dechiper the codes.

On my '02 Phaeton the connector is in the access panel above the instrument panel. Just open the access and it was in there, grey and about the size of a quarter.
