Cold water😳

Hi! Hoping for help since Tiffin is closed until Monday.
We have a 2012 Phaeton with tankless water heater.
The green light flashes steady.
However, the igniter lights but it won’t stay lit. It goes out in about 3 seconds. Sometimes it tries to re-ignite and sometimes it doesn’t.
In other words, it doesn’t stay lit.
OMG, warm shower for 90 seconds. Then, the screams begin...
HELP!

I have the same water heater. I'm sure you have checked this but..... you have plenty of LP, and the tank valve outside is open, right. Will the stove run for 5 minutes?

Two possibilities come to mind--air in the gas line or bad ignitor/thermocouple. If you've has the gas turned off for a time, you might have an air bubble to overcome. Light the stove to get good flow through the system and re-try the WH. You might have to relight it several times, possibly turning it completely OFF then restarting the cycle.

If you have a bad ignitor/thermocouple, it will fail to send the low voltage signal to the gas solenoid confirming the burner is lit, and the flame will go out and the gas will be locked out. If you are certain you have an uninterrupted supply of gas to the WH, the. Problem may be the ignitor.

Same thing happened on our former home furnace and it was a bad ignitor.
