Do you carry spare filters?

1)How many of you carry spare Fuel and/or Fuel water separator filters for your DP coach?

2) Have you ever had a situation where you had to use either?

Yes, yes and no.
I carry all filters, spare belts, lots of fuses including chassis fuses and relays, plus the normal, oil, coolant, DCA, a pretty good selection of tools and an air compressor.

Rust in fuel looks like very fine sand. I had a few customers who got rust in the fuel and stopped up the fuel filter. I always carry two fuel filters. I also carry a serpentine belt.

I carry fuel filters only because the place that services my coach does not stock them. Other than that I carry my Good Sam Card. No spare tire either. Never think about it either.

I carry a full set of filters plus a couple belts. Also spare fuses. Have used fuses from time to time. Haven't had to use the filters or belts yet. Whenever I get maintenance done, I have them use the old filters and I get new ones.

Yes X3 + Generator fuel filter, belt for ISL, oil, Mercon V and a spare electric motor for the hydraulics. Lotsa electrical connectors, a jumper wire with alligator clips, a hi end electric multi-meter, any fuse X2 that I may need and I still wind up in the middle of nowhere without some item or tool that I need desperately......Go figure....
