I put elect tape over the weep holes to stop the noise but it needs to removed when you stop in case of rain or you will flood the dash area. Then you have worse issues. Nice fix for a $300,000 unit

Are you sure the tape on the weep holes will cause a flood?

The track will fill with water and run down the wall next to the dash in a hard rain. I forgot to remove the tape one rainy eve.

i had the same wind noise on my new phaeton bus. I went to the factory for some service and my tech took one of the foam furnace duct filters and cut it into strips and insert them in my drivers side window track right in front of the weep holes and then silconed the filtered weep piece on the outside and i have no more noise. Hope this helps

OK, I just do not remember what all this looks like.

Why is my 2010 Red quite enough? Can I use this foam to make it quiter? I need to take some time off and go for a ride.

That at least sounds better than taping them shut.
