Didn't replace it, but removed and re-installed it when we swapped out the Norcold for a Kitchen Aid. No problem, except that it's heavy (still a one man job to hold it, just be prepared). You'll need some butyl tape to seal the window, not rope caulk.

Frig

We are at Red Bay,AL, had a new Whirpool residential installed in our 06
Phaeton. Brannon in Vina installed it.
We don't boon dock so no extra batteries required and we got rid of that Norcold that had 3 cooling units failures and each time trips to RV dealers...had six different temp recall switches installed. Every trip cost spoiled food and different dealers. So we Love the whirlpool.

Don't want to rain on your parade, but the Whirlpool, KitchenAid, Sears and other refrigerators are having a bit of a problem with the duckbill valve where it drains water to the evaporator tray. It gets gooey and clogged and ice forms on the freezer floor that then starts leaking outside the box. See thread at House Fridge The S shaped P trap seems to fix it, but you might need to check to see if you have that piece or the duckbill installed. My coach (KitchenAid) and house (Hotpoint) both have the problem and I have parts on the way. Even with this glitch I wouldn't trade my residential refrigerator for every unit Norcold ever made.

I have. A bit of swearing, grinding, and pounding is required . You didn't say what year, but I have a new in box driver's side window from a 2004 Alegro bus for sale. PM me if interested.
