Exhaust Fan Covers

When I sold my Winnebago, I took of my semi-expensive Exhuast Fan Cover made by MaxxAir to put on my new Phaeton. The fans are 14 inch fans. When I set the cover over the fan with the hood open, the cover was hitting the hood as if the cover was too shallow. I measured the height of my hood and it is 9 inches tall as what seems to be standard height.

Any recommendations? Anyone put covers over their fans that can recommend a good cover.

For those who ask, why put a cover over a fan that has a hood on it already, the hoods get brittle and crack over time. The covers protect the fan hoods.

I used MaxxAir 2 hoods on my Phaeton, works fine. FYI, it doesn't hurt if the fan cover hits the MaxxAir as the vent fans have a cover shut off if it hits something.

Thanks Cutsr. It is possible my cover hot on my Winnebago and I just never noticed. I need to find one more matching cover and will go for it.
