Looking for some guidance. We have found what looks to us to be a very nice 2007 Allegro Bus, Frieghtliner Chassis, Cummins 400HP. It is a private sale by the original owner. We have given it our best inspection and test drive. This coach has a lot of options that we like and seems to have been well taken care of. We feel that for us this could be a turn key deal as the maintenance records show all maintenance items have been kept up on as scheduled and there are no obvious repairs or changes we would want to have done. Having said that, any offer made will be contengent on professional inspections of the chassis and RV systems. These inspections will be at our expense.

Now is where you guys come in. Is 150K a fair price to pay?

Dave and Cindy,

It sounds good to me. You may want to offer a bit less. We recently pourchased a 2005 Revolution LE with similar engine size and options, lo miles and we paid slightly more than $100K. The coach you are looking at is 2 years newer though. Have you looked at PPL's website to check on recently sold Tiffins? That may give you some comparison points.

We love ours. I can assure you that you will have some hours to learn eerything. We were looking for something smaller but fell into a great deal and love ours more every trip. I also learn something new every trip. Please feel free to contact me if I can be of assistance to you. Certainly not because I am an expert but because I will probably learn something from you.

I will promise you you will immediately love the Hydro-Hot. That is a major plus for you. Saw one for sale here in Jax last week without HH for $199,000. They will never get it but they can sure ask.

150,000.00 sounds like a pretty good price for that rig considering it probably had a list price of 280,000. or more you'd probably pay more through a dealer and once your out the door you are on your own. its not a bad idea to purchase a warranty some people are afraid of them however one major break down without coverage can be costly. i purchased my warranty through gorv warranty on line for 60,000 additional miles and 5 years it cost me 3250.00 about 2 months into the warranty i had a generator issue that cost 2650.00 to repair. i paid the first 100.00 and off i went. so it is definitely something to consider good luck
