Hi Folks-
We have been lurking for quite a while, almost landed a 2007 Fleetwood Terra on the workhorse chassis, but it fell through.

Now it looks like we might have a chance at 2011 Tiffin 35QBA on the Ford Chassis.

Not sure if it is an appropriate question, and I know we are lacking details (such as options on the coach).. Just wondering what the group thought would be a fair price for a stock model with 6K miles on her..

Any help you could provide would be appreciated.. We are pretty nervous about the investment, and not sure if we want to take the Ford plunge..

Thanks!

I just completed negotiations on the purchase of new 2012 Tiffin Allegro 34TGA. That being said, Tiffin publishes its RV prices for all to see. Check RVCruzer.com. A friend of mine purchased a 2011 TGA with a list price of $28,000 or so. Of course he paid way less. In my experience, the QBA's are about 3k more than the TGA's. The options may make a difference.

Also, go to NADA guides and open the section on recreational vehicles. You can get a good idea there.

About the Ford chassis: it's the only way to go for a new big block gasser now. The 22000 chassis that the QBA is built on is a solid platform. Just don't overload it!

Bob

Can I go out on a limb and assume that was $128K, not $28K?

Looks like we can get this one at $80K, used with 6K miles on it..

Dave, look at the MSRP on the site Bob mentioned. Take off 25% of the new price then take another 10% off that. Using the $128K (if that's correct), a price of $86,400 would be good. Based on that $80,000 doesn't sound bad, if its' a cash deal. If not, then it's worth whatever the bank says it's worth.

2011 without options new was listed as $119,560.00 on the Ford Chassis. $121 and change for the Workhorse.
Add options could easily drive price up around $10,000.
So just say $130,000.00 with a 25-30% discount Maybe a little more....should get you in a fair price range. In my opinion.
Again; it all depends on which options are included.

Check it out: http://www.rvcruzer.com/pastpricing.php
