Mine exploded on the El Paso freeway at rush hour.

You will find out that engine cooling is just about nonexistent without it.

limped all the way to Phoenix Over two days with windows down and dash heater on high.

My serpentine belt broke and took out the cooling fan and the shroud when I was near Grand Junction, Co. Transwest trucking in Grand Junction was able to order the parts through John Elway Cheverolet in Denver.

Took about 5 days that included a weekend.

Transwest is a big company and there should be one near you wherever you are.

Not sure but that engine was in chevy 2500 and 3500 pickups and I wonder if a truck in a wrecking yard might have the part? Dave
