Thanks Mr D, for putting into perspective how much time I am not willing to devote to this payment plan. A,, no,life is too short, to even think about dealing with this. No,I do not agree to the financing offer, I will find another way. Looking at F750's tomorrow.

Spring time buying season is a suckers bet, the absolut worst time of year to buy. Been in that place for 16 months.

If you make that payment without fail, every week, you'll wind up paying 13 months a year. We used to do that on car loans years ago

We just bought our new Phaeton and financed through the dealer. Many banks wont allow you to go direct through them. The dealers have lines on the large lenders; B of A, Ally, etc. The one thing many people do not realize is the dealers get a percentage paid to them by the banks for the loan. Example: My rate in Dec 17 started at 4.25% and I negotiated to a lower rate of 3.99%

Just got back from the Ford commercial truck dealer today, this is looking promising with long lead time. Looking at F750 frame rail (crew cab) tomorrow Vs E450, a 15 ton plus workhorse towing 4 tons, 4 down. This could work, an Tioga 29R 2004SL on a F750 crew cab chassis. Still working the #'s, and the challenge of American infrastructure.
