Found unplugged white RCA jack under dash?

Hi Guys:

I was crawling around under neath my dash looking at wires. I never did find out why my coach transmission got stuck in park. The dealer could not duplicate it again and neither can I.

But I was crawling around under the dash, I found a white RCA plug that was unconnected? I presume this has something to do with the speakers, but the front speakers seem to be working correctly. Any idea what it is for? It is directly underneath the steering column under the dash.

It might be the plug for the CB antenna (assuming you have the factory CB antenna).

You know I do have the factory CB antenna. I never thought of that before. I bet that is it.

I don’t recall a RCA connector on the CB harness when I hooked mine up.

The other thought, and it’s a swag at that, is the audio connection for the rear camera that works with the “other remote” that no one uses, nor most even know what it’s for.

Agreed on all points. While Tiffin's CB antennas aren't the best, they do still use the PL-259 connectors and not RCA.

Mine went to a speaker that I used for the CB. I assumed that is what was for and it works.

Found this under my dash. No clue. Sent this to Tiffin and waiting for response.

My genny hour counter doesn’t work but I don’t think this has anything to do with that.
