We have '05 Allegro Bus 38 ft., new to us. I can't locate the water tank overflow pipe beneath the bus. I have not fully filled my water tank yet as I want to observe when it starts to overflow, but don't know where to look. Is it possible to fill the tank too fast and cause problems, e.g. tank pressure buildup with inflow greater than the overflow?

Suggest you try looking just forward of the passenger-side rear wheels, maybe two or three feet. You should see a hard, plastic hose with a dust-proof "duck bill" on the end. The hose should be about 1-1/4" to 1-1/2" OD. It should be fairly close to the bottom of the compartment floor and doesn't stick down too far.

In other words, the overflow should be on the opposite side of the fresh water tank from the fill connections on the driver's side.

It's designed to relieve any excess water and/or pressure on the fresh water tank to prevent it from rupturing. So, yes, this should allow the overflow to dump more water than you could put into the tank.

Hope this helps.

Chuck
