Frozen up?

We have a 2010 Phaeton that we just got back from it's annual service about 2 weeks. Since then our temps have been down to below zero at night. We are getting ready to head south, so we plugged it into out house today, but we have no power. We are sure that the batteries are dead but can not figure out why since it is plugged in we are not getting any power. Any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated.

If you haven't used it since service check you battery disconect switch. The service tech may have turned them off to stop battery drain.

We have the "House" bat. switch turned to "on"/green. Is that what you are talking about?

First off service turns off everything on ours. Check the inverter and make sure it is on. Check the 12v switch by the front door. Check the house battery and the chassis battery disconnects. The house switch should be in the same position as the chassis battery switch which should be on because you drove home. Here is the big thing. You have a Battery Minder or Tender back in the power bay. If your batteries are dead this will not charge them. It is a battery minder. You can either drive the coach a while so the alternator will charge them or attach an external charger to charge them. Just plugged in won't get them charged. But despite the dead house batteries you still should have power inside if all the switches are turned on. Have you turned on the generator to see if you have power on the gen set? You may have to use that connect/link switch to the left of the driver that links the house and chassis battery bank. Hold it down for at least 30 seconds or longer. Reason is the gen set starts from the chassis batteries. Check the on/off switch on the genset first because they turned mine off. Good luck!
