I have a 2007 bus with a 400 cummins in it and I was questioning if it was alright to use leftover kerosene I had and add it to my diesel fuel and if it would be ok for the aqua hot too. Does anyone know about that or has anyone done that? Chris

Left over ?? How old?? I would not no matter how you answer those questions.
How much would it cost you if the leftovers plugged up your injectors ?

Do not add anything to your diesel tank unless it is a fuel stabilizer to prevent algae. As mentioned above the cost to repair can be a huge amount. If you have any questions call Cummins!!!

Kerosene is perfectly fine to run in a diesel. It just costs more $$$ per gallon because it's refined a bit more and has a substantially reduced sulfur content. Diesel #2 is nothing more than fuel oil used for home heating. But kerosene will lack the lubricity properties that are added into over-the-road-diesel that we buy. If you are mixing it down with regular diesel you'll be fine.
