Gap under Bedroom Slide

I noticed that there is a gap at the seal on bottom of the bedroom slide-out. I noticed this from inside when I could see light coming in under the bed. It looks like the rubber seal sags a bit on the bottom of the slide box. Actually that's where it's supposed to contact, it's attached to the opening. I went to OSH and bought a piece of the smallest diameter pipe insulation I could, (the back stuff) and when the slide is open in wedge it into the gap. As long as I remember to remove it when I run the slide in I should be OK. I was just worried about bugs getting into the bedroom.
