I have a 1996 32' Allegro Bay on a chevrolet chassis with a 454 engine. I just checked the mileage and it got 8.43999 miles to the gal. That was with no A/C running too. Does that sound very good or not. I was towing a 14' single axle ATV trailer with two 400 lbs ATV's on it. The previous owner claimed to get 8 miles to the gal. while pulling a Toyota Camry behind. Just wondering what any one else gets.

From what I've read on here, 8 mpg is pretty decent!

We have a 1986 27' Allegro with 454. We get between 11-12 mpg pulling a Kia Soul on a car dolly. We only go 1-2 hours away and always fill up on our way home (gas gauge is broke), so we have never figured it up on an almost empty tank.

Sounds about average for the size of motor home you have. We have a 38' coach and over 11 years it's averaged 7 mpg.

Our 35' 1998 Santara (Ford 460) got between 5 and 6 mpg pulling a '95 Honda Odyssey on a dolly even after the Banks kit was added.

Get about 7 mpg towing a HHR at 70 mph. If it gets hilly around 6.5 with 11 Phaeton

My previous coach was a 1996 Holiday Rambler 36 ft on a Ford chassis with Banks Power system. I averaged 6.5 MPG towing my toad. Count your blessings.

Your right on track. We avg. between 7-8 mpg depending on the terrain. Try to travel at a steady 60mph on avg. Tow the vehicle in our sig.
