. I've been thinking bout this gen. Shutting down after 12 hrs. And I think it might be in the controller ( inside cabin switch) or, inverter. If no one has any thoughts I'll call tiffin.

My generator cut off after a few hours. This happened two times. It would not crank anymore. I found the problem to be the voltage regulator overheated. I had to replace it 2 times. Now, I run only one AC at a time. My MH has a 30 amp electric.

After recently weathering a 48" 5-day snow storm without campground shore power in South Dakota I can assure you that the genny will shut down exactly every 12 hrs.
As to the why's, I'll take the safety reason as an answer. If that is not good enough, call Onan. But it's Good enough for me. That also gives you a chance to go shovel the snow bank out from around the exhaust pipe, check the oil, etc. Don't ask how I know this.....

hi all! A new question,after finding an inline filter(installed by tiffin) I have come to wonder if there might be another such filter between tank and main engine.? I always get annual service at camp Freightliner in gafney,s.c. So, I would imagine if there is one, they would know! They always change the big one in the back(water separater) and one on engine block.i have a 2007 phaeton with 350 cat
