Our 2006 Allegro bus generator(7.5 Onan diesel) is haunted. It starts when no one is around. It does not have auto start or any of the fancy controls. Anyone ever heard of anything like this?

Wow, that is strange. Would certainly like to know what you find. So, you don't have an auto start feature through your control panel? My 07 has that feature but I don't use it.... YET.

There is a short in the wiring that goes from the start/stop switch inside the coach to the generator. Years ago had it happen. The wiring from the dash area was to close to the exhaust manifold and melted a bunch of wiring.
