HD 360 View Antenna

Didn't get a manual on this system in my blue bag, but did find one online. Unfortunatly the manual really says nothing about how to operate the antenna. I switched the input on the TV to antenna and still wondering if there is a "best" way to operate the antenna.

Is this the manual you need/have?

If so connect the antenna per the instructions in that manual..... turn on your TV set..... and follow the "TV's introductions" for tuning the TV to over the air, (aka: antenna), signals/stations.

Yes, that is the manual I found online. Never received any introductions when I first turned it on. I'm just trying to figue out the exact meaning of the 16 positions and their relationshiip to the channels. Looks like a hit and miss rotation.

The only differences between this antenna and the earlier ones Tiffin used are 1) it has a remote; and 2) you can store the position of a station should you be in a location where you your local stations are in different directions. The numbers are simply positions where the antenna stops - 1 through 16.

Mine is mostly unused since it is easier to get the locals with my satellite antenna and a phone call to Dish.

Antenna Position

My understanding is the positions are one of 16 "directions" in which the antenna may be set for optimum reception on each channel of interest. Position 8 is always straight ahead as through the front windshield, with positions 7 to 1 going counterclockwise to your left. Positions 9 to 16 are clockwise to your right.

This link will provide info on the direction to nearest TV stations to your zip code location.
