We were at the Hershey show on Thursday. I must admit I think Manufacturers are working to give the Owners more bang for the buck. While prices rose some on some models the included features went way up.We stopped in the Tiffin area to check them out for the first time, truly impressive. The Phaeton was great. When we walked in a gentleman came over to greet us and explain the features, he then introduced himself as Bob Tiffin. I must say all the wonderful things I've seen posted about him are true, he is indeed a Gentleman. Gave me his card told me to call if I had any questions. I see what you guys rave about all the time, great bang for your dollar. Fleetwood has also kicked it up a notch with their power bridge chassis. All in all worth going to see the improvements

Mike and Peggy,
I'm glad you had a chance to attend the Hershey show and meet Bob Tiffin. The care and attention to customer service that Bob and his organization provide are second to none.
I recall while waiting for my rig to be delivered, I had contacted Tiffin customer service with a question, and ended up getting a phone call from Bob Tiffin himself making sure my questions were taken care of to my liking.
Great owner...great company

I was there on Saturday. It is to bad that I missed Bob, I would have like to have met him. It is a real shame that the salesman dont have as much knowledge of the product. There were people asking questions about the coaches, and I think I answered more questions then the salesman did.

Lenny, that's how I feel every time I talk to a salesman. There is such a lack of knowledge it's frightening. It's like they were selling used cars last week.

We were at Hershey all day Saturday as well. Sorry we missed you Lenny. Didn't know you were going to be there. I did get to meet Mr. Tiffin, but had to stand in line by the way. The Powerglide chassis was very impressive and so was Gary, the lead engineer for the chassis.
My only problem is that Mr. Tiffin said a new bath and a half Allegro Bus is on the way. That would be my wife's dream coach.
I see more overtime on the horizon.

Bill,
What time was he there? My older son would have loved to have met him. I may have to make a trip to Red Bay!

Lenny,
Best I can remember we were at the Tiffin display between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm. When I'm on vacation I don't really pay attention to time but we headed to the Tiffin display as soon as we got there.
The weekend of October 16 we will be at the Saugerties/Woodstock KOA. Arrive Thurs pm and leave Sun am. Wife and her friend are going to a fiber festival in Rhinebeck on Saturday. Will have Friday to look around the area. Any suggestions as to the must see in the area?

I can attest this to be true (not for a MH, but on another vehicle). When Dave & I were shopping for a tow for a 5-r (4 years ago), we stopped by a used car dealer when we saw a 2500HD on their lot. I was asking all sorts of questions (thanks, Ken Lenger!) about engine size, rear axle ratio, towing capacity, how much pin weight could be put on the rear axle...etc. The sales guy gave me that deer-in-the-headlights look & told me he was selling import sports cars just the week before & didn't know much about trucks yet. Although, he did point out its many cup holders & upgrade of heated seats!
So, it IS true, those sales folks sure move around!

Lenny, I was in Red Bay and was going to go by and meet him, but he was at the show in Hershey. Good luck at catching up to him. Have spoken to him on the phone, quite a gentleman.
