Hi and Help from California

We are trying to replace the coolant surge tank on our 2001 Allegro Bus.
I saw someone had replaced theirs, do you have any helps for my hubby?

We have to take it in on Wednesday for Norcold recall fix. We have the new tank but he's not sure how to take out and replace. His problem is accessing the bolts on the right side of the tank, there's a steel support in the way of unbolting the tank. Does the radiator have to be removed?

We are hosting the Clan Hamilton tent for the annual ScotsFest over Memorial Day weekend at the OC Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa, CA.

If you go to Search at the top of the page, and type in Surge Tank there is alot of information. I have replaced mine. Mine is on a Freightliner Chassis. What chassis do you have?

I just replaced ours last Thursday. Not too bad a job, but you do need an angle cutter and a vice to bend and cut the old brackets to fit the new tank. Here is a good source of information. Good luck, Steve
