Hope someone can help

Hi all. Hope your weekend is starting out nice. I ordered, and just received from Tiffin their replacement for my Mini State tv antenna. The box contained the antenna, the mounting base, the booster wall piece ( with 6 coaxial cables and 2 wires for power), and not a scrap of paper in way of instructions. Has anyone done the swap of MiniState to Triple Vision. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you email the manufacturer or download installation instructions?

I can't find instructions online. Since there was nothing in box but the antenna. I don't know the manufactures name or email address. Honest, the box had the antenna and some screws and nothing else. I couldn't believe there was no paperwork at all.

My 2014 Allegro 36LA had a rotating OTA antenna. I had it replaced with a triple vision antenna at the Tiffin service center. The technician installed the new Antenna on the roof using the old antenna mount (no need to drill new holes in the roof) and connected the new antenna coax cable to the existing coax cable. Inside the Coach he used a coax barrel connector to connect the in and out coax cables that went to the old antenna control box. The antenna splitter box that comes with the new antenna is not needed unless you have had a splitter failure. I now have a spare splitter box but like you I have no idea how to connect the cables since no instructions came with the new antenna. I could not find any info on the triple vision antenna.

Good news is when my RV is parked at home I receive twice the number of OTA channels.

I tried what you suggested to no avail. Can you tell me the color code on the coax cable that we're connected.

Sorry have no idea about color coding. My coax cables are not color coded. They have tags wrapped around each cable stating its purpose. Maybe you can call the Tiffin service center for help. They are very helpful finding solutions.

There will be an Antenna In coax cable connected to the back of the Mini State control box and a short jumper from the control over to the Winegard cable/OTA splitter. You need to disconnect the jumper and transfer the Antenna In coax from the OTA antenna directly to the cable/OTA splitter. The cable/OTA splitter will have three coax cables on the back; Antenna In, Cable In and TV out and each is labeled on the circuit board. I installed a Rayzar on our RED not the Triplevision, but the hookup is similar.

Yes, that is what a Tiffin of tech told me. I was able to use the same bracket as my Mini State.

Win, win. No new holes in the roof, and more channels.
