How do you like your Phaeton 40qbh?
A nice 2012 has come into my radar screen.
Wondering what owners think of theirs.
My main concerns are A/C keeping up with the heat.
Driving in the wind / long driving.
Storage underneath.
And anything else you might want to add

Well.....you didn't mention if it's equipped with 2 or 3 roof airs ??
My 40 QTH has 3 and I run 2 constantly when its hot and humid out. Usually #1 & 2 during daytime.....#2 & 3 during the night time.
I'm also in the market for a 40 QBH.....but it must have a fireplace option.
Good luck ...... if you decide to pull the trigger..........

I have 2013 40qbh for two months love it. Have 3ac, mid-ship TV/fireplace, dishwasher, washer/dryer, king sleep number bed, pullout dining table/buffet with computer desk, etc. Most options. Love it. Only been highway one time this past weekend but was not affected by wind or passing trucks. Handled well. Haven't been in super hot weather but expect the 3 ac option will handle it. Not sure differences from 2012 to 2013, but we are very happy with ours! Storage has been adequate for us, but we are not full-timers.

Brought mine home on I-81 through the mountains during a rainy and windy night (overnight), no problem. Ran all 3 roof ACs while in SC at Camp Freightliner during the Memorial Day weekend, no problem. However, I can see where 2 ACs might be challenged if in the sun during a 90+ degree day. I THINK early 2012 was supposed to be the end of the big three (roof rails, wet bay, front DS slide floor), so you may want to give that a double check.

We love ours, handles pretty good in wind and rain....3 acs are better, that's a lot of coach to cool with two.

Not sure what you mean by the "end of"

Three rather troubling manufacturing bo0-boo’s finally ending & no longer in production of new MHs.
[tiffinrvnetwork.com] forum has the details. Do a research so as to be knowledgeable and negotiable while shopping. Not every Phaeton had these problems & many owners are ill-informed as no official recall was issued.

We have 3 AC's, the storage is superb. We have quite a few cabinets with absolutely nothing in them. We have full sliders on two of the underneath bays and wouldn't trade for them. Handles great and is a good ride and sleeps really well.

Dewat, can you tell me more about these 3 issues a little? I am curious what to look for?

We have a 2014 QBH and totaly love it. I have 3 AC and i am in AZ and NV and even in 110 degress the 3 AC handles it great. Storage in basement is great, and handles great with passing trucks. 10 to 20 mph winds not a real problem but 30+ is a pain with the gusts, but any MH will have problems. At night it seems only One AC is needed.

The 2014 BH is one of the best selling coaches on the market. The heated floors, 3 A/C, 10,000 K generator, insulated windows, etc, etc top quality, great driveability, performance and lots of storage

Our family is still happy with our 2014 QBH that we bought in April. It's great on the road, tows well, very comfortable. We have the three AC's, but we seldom run them all at the same time. Now that we're getting consistently into the 90's, we may find out that we really need the three.
The memory foam king (our first memory foam bed) is not a favorite of mine. I haven't pinned down why, but I just don't seem to sleep as well on it. From a driveability point of view, I wish the phaeton had the steering wheel controls for the cruise - I don't like the turnsignal stalk for this control. The Fleetwood Discovery had a more deluxe cockpit.
Good luck!
