I have a 32ca on order which should be exactly the same height as the ba.
I was wondering how high to center of 2 inch hitch receiver on the ba?
I am not sure if I need a drop hitch adapter or not for my CRV in tow. I don't want to go pick it up and find I am too high.

ctcamper...Congrats on your new Tiffin!
You may want to enlist the help of your dealer you are purchasing the Allegro from. Let them know you want to make sure you are ready to travel when you pick up the new rig and that you need to have this information ASAP! I would also have them send it to you via email so you have documentation as to what they told you.
Good Luck and Happy Traveling!

Thank you,
They are going to wire up the six way for me already when I get there so I can tow the car right away. The access was right on the money for height but I wanted to get the drop hitch if I needed it before hand as it might not be a stocked item at the dealer or if it is, it may be quite a bit more than I can get one beforehand. Either way I want to be ready to go
I should probably call Tiffin, maybe they have that measurement.

Mine is exactly 19.5" from cement slab to center of hitch.

I called and got a number of 18 inches to center, that seems low to me. Not sure if it's accurate. I have no idea who called me back, they gave me a number on the assembly line area at the factory. I am getting figures from people with the ba of 19.5, 20, and 23 so far. I think the ba should be close to the same as the ca. It is the same chassis with some changes in the basement and floorplan setup but not enough to make that big of a difference.
I know the dual adapter from roadmaster is 40 dollars cheaper if I buy it online ahead of time than at the dealer based on their parts book they gave me with the prices. I know they didn't offer me any discount off the store price, at least when I was doiing the paperwork just said that they have a store with low prices so they can give their customers a great deal .........
I was really hoping I could use that dual adapter so I can connect the toad to the bottom and then I could fabricate a carrier for my x-pens for the dog shows and put that in the top of the dual receiver adapter.

Hello CT. I just registered and this is my first post. Congrats on your new to arrive 32CA. I live in upstate NY and we have a new 32 BA that I bought from Steve at Alpin Haus in November. Just finished our first trip. Was very satisfied with the sale arrangement. I just went out to the driveway and took a measurment on my hitch. It was 24 inches from the pavement to the center of the 2 inch hitch. This is lightly loaded and with about 3/4 tank of gas. A little more than some of the other replys that you have, but that what it is here. Hope it helps. Ron.

Looks like I may need a 6 inch drop receiver adapter then. Thanks for the replies. I may have to wait until I get to the dealer.
I think my plan for the dual hitch style adapter is out of the equation as they only come in 4 inch drop models. I may have to weld my own second receiver on top of the six inch drop myself if I want to be able to use my modified carrier along with the toad.
