Our HWH Jack on our 03 Allegro Bus don't want to go down. We were moving the bus and experiementing with where to park it at home. Leveled it out a couple of times, moved the bus one more time, went to level the 3rd time and Jacks wouldn't come down. When we tried to do it manually, you could hear the switch trying to connect but the Jacks didn't move. Any thoughts you might have would be appreciated.

The same thing happened to us once - the pump ran, but no jacks extended. It turned out to be a bad check valve (I forget the exact name of the part). If you are willing and able to climb around under the coach and find the pump, control panel and reservoir, HWH is very good at walking you through troubleshooting. Unfortunately, HWH was hit very hard by the turndown in RV sales and has only been open part time. A friend of mine has been waiting several days for a call back about a problem with his HWH hydraulic slide out.

Had the opposite problem with our old coach (2001 Itasca). The jacks would occasionally stick down. Learned to carry a long section of pipe for a pry bar. Lubricant didn't help. Never did figure out what was causing the problem.

Coudersport, Pa? You're right, that is God's country and we're almost neighbors. I'm in Warren. Welcome to the forum.

Call HWH. They'll talk you through the process of diagnosing your problem. Be patient since it takes a while for them to get back to you. But they always do.

Tom and Carole, love the Phaeton. Have been in it for two summers now and am not liking to have to put it away for the winter. (tomorrow).

Hope you get the same test person I had when I took my Class B test. He was good. Ran me through a bunch of stuff but very fair. The hole for parallel parking is pretty big. Good luck. Let me know when you're here and I'll buy lunch.
