Question hydraulic fluid-is it supposed to leak?2010AllegroRED

2010 Allegro RED 34 Feet El Cajon, Ca.

We keep the motorhome plugged in and sitting in side yard. I use it as an extra room. Our monthly weekend with the club is approaching. In November I noticed a stain on the cement pad. Slow leak? Asked my husband again today, is that supposed to leak??? and make a stain on the cement pad??

We checked and the hydrolic?? fluid level is just below 1/2. Before I call La Mesa RV, I will ask you guys and also Tiffin Forum.

Thank you!!!

That reminds me of once on board a large military helicopter when I noticed a weeping hydraulic fitting and pointed it out to one of the crewmembers. I asked him if it was a problem and he said "naw, we worry when they stop leaking..."

Been there done that. Definition of a large military helicopter ---- 10,000 bits and pieces flying in relative formation!!

We're not being helpful to the OP but no hydraulic systems should not leak.

Nope not supposed to leak--we had a problem at the tank. I thought it was cracked or maybe overfilled during service. Wrong on both counts, it was a bad hydraulic solenoid switch mounted on top of the pump.
