Hydraulic jacks wont extend, fault light on

Hi everyone
Tonight we tried to level with the hydraulic jacks. The hydraulic light comes on, but the auto or manual will not engage. There is also a red fault light on. We were able to air level, although the auto button didnt work, but the manual option did. Weve poured through the manuals, but cannot find anything related to this issue or what the fault indicates. Ant thoughts? Of course its a holiday weekend and we wont get a hold of Tiffin or an RV service until Tuesday.

There are a few interlocks that need to be satisfied for things to work. So, with the engine running move the coach forward or backwards a bit. With the engine still running, put the transmission in Neutral, put the parking brake ON. With the engine still running, press the Auto Level button.

You should hear the air bags deflate and the pump start for the hydraulic levelers. Then the coach is leveled, put out the slides and turn off the engine.

The interlocks are transmission in neutral, parking brake on, and the ignition in the run position. Some models allow the ignition to be in the ACC position but the engine running is preferred.

Resolved

Thanks for your advise. I wanted to let you know what we discovered. Our coach is a 2014, but new to us just recently so were stilling learning all of the components. We discovered Valid Manufacturing creates the controls for the leveling system and they are located in Canada and open for business today! We described the problem and the tech had us hold down the power button for 10 seconds with the engine on. It worked. The fault is off, the auto works and the hydraulic system works. He thinks the airbag on the front driver side sent an error and his recommendation is of course to get the airbag checked when we get to a service center. So for today, all is good again. Thanks for your help.

Just an FYI for you - if you have other leveling issues, let everyone know that you have a Valid Air Leveling System. This was an option on your model year and responses to your initial question would have been different. Glad you could get ahold of Valid and get it fixed so fast.
