I think my big room slide is low/tilted

When this hydraulic slide is all out, the top seems 1/2" further out than the bottom. The seals are compressed but the bottom is compressed more. When the slide is in, again the top is slightly out as compared to bottom. Seal is compressed all the way around, just not as much up top. I see clearly how to raise the slide room from its outermost mounting on the rail. Raising it from here would tilt the top inward I assume.
Is it a big deal to mess with this? It doesn't seem so to me..

That's adjustable by Redbay, and possibly the dealer. Redbay would be my personal preference if had to have that done.

Kiawah, I appreciate the response. I'm sure the manufacturer is qualified to work on the slide, maybe even some dealers. Can you expound more on your response. Do you have any specific knowledge to share with me that would discourage me from attempting this myself? Or does it just appear too daunting to you?

JMHO: Raising the slide , won't put more pressure on the top seal .
The hydraulic rams exert the pressure on the lower section of the slide , compressing the slide seal , the top of the seal ( slide out ) is compressed by the weight of the slide and the longer the slide is out the more the seal will compress. Slide in , if the top outer edge of the slide sticks out ; and your coach isn't equipped with slide locks that add tension on the seal and stabilize the slide; there may be a roller ( s ) under the leading edge of the floor when in; that requires adjustment. On units that I've seen , adjusting the rollers is not a DIY job.

Well I was down to Redbay twice to watch mine being built. Seeing them put in the slides with cranes, that is not something I'm going to mess with. I had a similar issue with one of mine, and they fixed it at the plant and now it's perfect.

IMHO, there is too much risk associated with a self fix on this. The weight and pressures are too high, and if you mess up some alignment with a self-tweak...causing a failure which leaves you with your slide out somewhere and unable to drive...you'll be kicking yourself.

I carry a crane wherever I go! Just kidding. Yeah, I have to agree this job may be too risky for DYI. Since I'm driving right past Red Bay on my way home in the second week of October, I would be foolish not to drop in. I've sent their service department a note.
