In-dash computer - 2007 Phaeton

I've purchased a 2007 Phaeton 40QDH and it has a large color monitor in the dash. The default for it is as a backup and turn signal camera. It comes with a wireless keyboard, but there is no manual on what type of computer system it is or how to operate it. Tried Tiffin and they don't have any manuals or information other than to suggest the "company is out of business." Does anyone have any information on this system or suggestions on where to get documentation for it?

Thanks.

Subscribing !!!

as my sister has a Phaeton ( a gee-or-geous coach by the way!)
and she was asking me about it since she thinks I'm the pc geek in the family

I was truly impressed by that huge in dash monitor !!!!

I found it was basically a windows pc with Copilot navigation built into hers....
Only had one chance to look at it, but hers came with a SUITCASE of manuals, one binder alone on the dash pc...

Next time I'm with her will research it more...

but I did send her this link and maybe it will help you:

a bit more info - it MAY be a Panasonic Strada in-dash Mobile Navigation system (CN-NVD905U).

found this on google.. if you lose your ID code do this:
touch the screen right above and below the white box that says "input ID Code" in the following order; right up, left up, left down, left up,right up, left up....

just trying to gather info for you and sis

In-Dash computer

I don't think it is the Panasonic you referenced. The screen on mine is easily 12" measured diagonally. Next time I'm at the RV I'll get a more accurate measure, but it is definitely larger than the 7" Panasonic.

Thanks again.

Tiffin did put actual PCs in those years of Phaeton and buses but they were pretty much low end PCs then so pretty much useless now. I does make a very nice, large backup camera but not particularly useful as a PC.

I believe that I've seen some information on how to upgrade them in the forum at Tiffin RV Network
