Is a Cummins 300 enough power for an Allegro Bay?

The Tiffin Allegro Bay with the Cummins 300 diesel has peaked my interest. I see some of them have 4 slides and are 35+ feet long. Is a front-mounted Cummins 300 enough power to get up and over hills and down the road on windy days without a lot of grunting? What kind of mileage are you getting?

300 HP, Tiffin FRED chassis ( FRont Engine Diesel ) I'm sure they only came with Cummins , ISB's, there are a number of them on the road, so I'm sure you'll be talking with an owner soon.
Power to weight is the number to look at , and there are a number of pushers on the road ; including my own ; operating at, approx. 100 LBS. of GCVW, per HP. and they get the job done just fine.
So get the coach GVWR and add the weight of your toad, and divide by 300, if your in the 95> 105 LBS/HP range you'll get there , just fine.
Won't be the quickest over the hill, but it'll do.
