Welcome and congrats on the 32CA. We've had ours for a year now and have traveled in it for about a third of that time. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me.

As much as we love ours, we need something bigger as we are now fulltimers. The new Phaeton 36GH should be ready in mid-September.

I did have one question do you have any details on the inverter charger in this coach, what wattage, is it a three stage charger etc.

Can't help you too much with that one as my vintage 32ca didn't have an inverter. I do believe what you have is a 600w model that is wired to run your TVs, sat receivers, HTS. I'm not sure if it handles your battery charging or not. The regular battery charger is equivalent to a 3 stage charger.

Just checked that's a 750 watt Tripp Lite inverter/charger with three stage charging capable of 45 amps, I will give this one a try but plan to add batteries then upgrade the inverter/charger probably a magnum 2000 watt version that will charge at 100 amps max.

Why change the inverter? You only have two batteries to power it, you don't need the charging capacity, and it is wired to only power the TVs and AV equipment.

My new coach will have a 2000W inverter, six batteries, and power all of the outlets in the coach. The new coach has just a bit more equipment (like a residential frig) than you do and has an inverter sized for that.

So unless you can find space for more batteries and plan to do some rewiring to power other things, I'd leave everything alone.

I am planning on adding battery capacity, "significantly" I like to dry camp and don't really want to listen to the genny run 24/7. I also have a 2000 Watt Magnum sitting in my garage that I had installed on my last RV. "it's a pretty simple install" I may or may not hook up more AC circuits as I'm more concerned or interested in the quicker/better charging capability that the Magnum would provide opposed to the increased inverting capability.

I ran out of battery power one time in another RV that I had probably 10 years ago in the middle of the night and lost my heat, lights etc. and froze the whole night. At that point I have always equiped my RV's with good battery banks, good three stage charging capabilities and learned all I could about 12 volt systems, also have never had that problem again and don't intend on it...

Just curious - where do you plan to mount all of these batteries?
