just purchased 2013 Allegro Red

My last post was April 2009 when I sold my last unit. Had the hots to get back
into RVing. Today purchased a 2013 Allegro Red 34'. Anyone with experience
with this unit care to share? Pulley

Congrats. We, Donna and I have the same unit, albeit, a 2012. Only one major complaint . . . it should have had a queen size bed and not the king. No room on the forward side of bed to get in and out. Also, if you use a C-pap, as I do, it is problem (which I solved with a glass brick.) setting it up for use. There zero room at the head of the bed for anything. Other than that, you're gonna love her.

We don't have a RED but own a 34TGA gasser and love it as I know that you will love your new rig. Congratulations and welcome back to the Tiffin family and IRV2.

Waving to DavCor from the other side of the bridge. What length RED do you have? we have the 36 RED and just changed the queen bed to a Calif King and no problems access either side.

Don and Nancy, we have the 34, which does make the difference as far as the bed goes. On the 34, the person sleeping on the forward/bow side of the bed must crawl up and in to the bed, due to the height of the bed from the floor, and there is zero room between the window and the bed. This makes it hard to make the bed as well. If Tiffin had put a queen size in the unit, there would not have been a problem. I doubt that your 36 will have our problem.

Don & Nancy,
Kinda intrigued with your Calif King bed in a RED 36QSA. I can see how you gained the extra inches on the sides, but how did you gain room for the additional 4 inches in length?
With our slides pulled-in the mattress is right up against the cabinets on other slide.

Queen is 60 W x 80 - & California king is 72" W x 84" L ??

OKGC, Your are absolutely correct. I didn't think of that, but my King, which is a normal king size butts against the passenger slide cabinets as well. No room for "length" at all. That said, I have a friend that has the 36 Allegro RED with a queen, and he's got room all around the entire bed . . . head of bed being the exception.

Say Pulley, I'll swap you the dashboard on yours for the dashboard on mine - Really love that wrap-around wood at the entrance. Looks like a million-dollar yacht.

Our Calif King in Latex is 72x80 all of the coaches we looked at were the same size. I agree there would be a problem as the 80 in just touches the PS side slide when closed
