Leaking fuel filler tube 2007 Open Road 35 TSA

Just got back from putting some gas in the rig while the prices were still low. While fueling, I smelled gas more stronger than usual. When I looked under the rig I saw gas hitting the pavement. I got under the fuel tank and a could see a dark, discolored spot on the lower side of the filler tube about 6" from the flexible connection. I didn't want to block the spot at the pump so I drove the rig 3 blocks back to storage.I guess I'll be fixing it once the weather clears. Fortunately, it only leaks when fueling, not while sitting still.

Smile gas filler tube leak

Stan in Tn

Had the same problem on my 2007 phaeton. There are a few clamps on the rubber filler hose where it hooks up with the steel tube, just got in there and proceeded to just tighten them up, no more leak.

Good luck
