LED Interior lights

I'm considering changing over to LED's for the interior lights to cut down on the battery drain and get brighter lighting. What are the typical bulb sizes for a 2007 Open Road? I see several ebay sites offering bulk prices on bulbs. Anybody have source recommendations?

Pappa...I got mine off Ebay. My rig had mostly 1156's but you might want to pop a cover and pull a few....just to make sure what your might like....and I bought a BRITE WHITE color ....go for a Warm White color... as in my case the lighting is mostly a blueish tint....not very comfortable.

I did change 1/2 of my bulbs to leds and chose the warm white, not real happy wih them but we do boondock some and they do save power but theyre not real comfortable either. For sure theyre not cheap but I guess they last a long time

My coach came with LEDs throughout mostly. Nice light. In our SOB which we had for 8 years I changed out all the lights we needed when dry camping. Did this over a period of years so I saw the improvements in LEDs and learned what worked and what didn't. The "didn't" went into fixtures that served mostly as night lights.

When at Senator Wash (Imperial Dam LTV Area) there was a guy selling LEDs and he lent me several different lamps for me to install and appraise. Naturally I bought the ones we really liked from him. ?Two dark nights with the lights where you want them is a lot better experiment than looking at them in the store in daylight.

Lakewood...I am inclined to agree with you on the difference in the conversion that I chose. My rig was not set up originally with LED and conversion bulbs are hard sells ...but i have them now and they are much more gentle on my battery use. Now on the other hand...I have been in rigs that are properly equipped with LEDs and it is wonderful on their rig to see what decent LED lighting can provide. A few forum peeps make their own florescent replacements with LED strips. Those lights give off nice lighting.
