Leveling issues

Hope I am not breaking any proticols, I posted this over at TIffin networks as well, but I am in dire straits, Have to have the wife in Albany by Sept 19th for surgery and I am concerned. Anyway, the story:

I have a new to me Tiffen Allegro 34QFA which seems to have chronic leveling issues. I bough the coach used from Lazy Days Tucson with only 12K on the clock for what I have surmised was a very good price. The DW and I both love the coach.

Anyway, on several occasions after leveling and rolling out the slides I would notice several hours later that 1 or more of the jacks was retracted. So, under the 30 day warranty I returned to Lazy Days where they assured me that they had done a complete systems test and could not duplicate the issue. They did question me about whether or not I dumped the bags prior to leveling although I do not see how that is relevant since once you hit the leveling button the MH first dumps the bags. :scratch

Once the unit was returned to me, the same thing has happened on several occasions. Is there something I am not understanding about the system deployment? I dump the bags, then level the coach roll out the slides, and several hours later, typically, I will notice one or more of the jacks has retracted. What's up? My initial 30 day warranty is about up and I am about to embark on a 2,500 mile journey. What suggestions do you have? My instincts tell me to get it back there tomorrow and insist that something is indeed wrong and fixed. I see no evidence of leaking fluid, although I do not quite understand the mechanics of the air bag dump/leveling process and almost wonder if I am doing something wrong. Thoughts anyone?

Back to LazyDays... it won't fix itself. I believe you either have a bad jack or a bad valve, one or both need replaced. Good luck.

What brand of jacks do you have? I have HWH, what ever brand you have, contact the manufacturer and request some assistance as to what the problem may be.
Proceed from there and if the dealer won't repair the problem. Have an attorney write them a letter before the warranty runs out. This should be a lot less expensive than handling the repairs yourself.

Are you sure that the jack is retracting or never went down? Depending on the site, we have had only three jacks down to level the coach.

HWH autoleveling system my understand of and on my 2005 allegro bus. The downhill jacks are lowerd to lift the coach to level. When the coach is level the rest of the jacks are lowed to touch the ground for stability. If you only have three jacks down with the HWH system you might have a problem.
