I have a 2010 40 Foot Phaeton Model 40QTH with the Power Glide Chassis. Yesterday, the passenger power seat stopped working. In looking at the Electrical Diagrams manual in the General Fuse Breaker Location, the 40 QTH was not included. The Model 40 RS location said the fuse was in the front breaker control panel at the front of the vehicle on driver side. The number of fuses on the panel didn't match my unit. The 40 RS has 8 fuses with the two 30 amp fuses at the bottom of FUSE BUSS -- BATTERY set allocated to the electric seats. The 40 QTH has only six fuses and has only one 30 amp fuse at the bottom. Checked it and it is good. Not sure what it goes to but assume it is for the drivers side chair. Anyone know where I can locate the fuse for the passenger side chair?

Thanks,
Dan Bowman

We just had a similar problem with our '05 Allegro Bay. We have a completely different coach that is older than yours, so I won't even attempt to speculate how yours is wired. However, unless you get a quick answer from someone on the Forum with a coach similar to yours, I suggest giving Red Bay a call.

I found the fuses for the seats under a panel on top of the dash, and and the fuse was good. I didn't know where else to look so I called Red Bay. The tech told me there are also circuit breakers for the seats. He told me where they were located (on the electrical panel in a storage compartment), what they looked like (black, about 1" square and 1/4" thick), and how to reset them. Tiffin helped me get my seat working again within 5 minutes.

A call to Red Bay is definitely in order. They change these things all the time and even the techs don't know exactly which one is the right one. If I had a single gripe about Tiffin's it would be the marking of their electrical system and cb's. The help line will get you in the right area and a meter will find you the right one.

The fuse should be in the driverside frontmost basement compartment. There are two fuse panels tin there and those fuses should be on the one on the right.
