Looking to replace our just-sold 2001 Diplomat. Great coach but looking for some upgraded options. e.g. 400 ISL, Aqua Hot, slide out generator, etc.
Tiffin web site has brochures back to 2005 but not 2004. Are they nearly identical? For example the 2005 shows two vanity sinks.
Here's one for sale in Washington.
2004 Allegro Bus 40 TSP by Tiffin
Would $115K cash-money-today be an unreasonable offer?
Thanks,

A rock-solid performer. That ad suggests the OP really tricked-out the coach with all the best options; and then made subsequent top-notch improvements, to boot! The dual pane windows, Black-out shades, lighting, doorbell, etc ....all make for an exciting coach.
In 2004 Tiffin made the 2 -vanity Gibraltar basins a standard on this model; previously an option. Possibly other major changes & upgrades as I recall the 2004 model year was a Tiffin-wide big improvement of upgrades.
You can check out a Tiffin users forum at "tiffinrvnetwork.com" for a host of owners; you might even meet up with the current owner himself; as it appears he put a lot of finishing touches into making it a fine coach. Too bad he had need to sale.
IMHO:That's a good price for an '04 Bus spec'd out as shown. I'd make the offer. If he's not wanting to wait around, he might bite.

Thanks, 62Morgan (Plus 4?).
You or anyone else have a basis for comparison of the Freightliner, upon which this is built, with the Roadmaster RR8R (rear radiator, 8 bag) upon which the Diplomat is built? My Roadmaster had a small turning radius, good ride, and well behaved handling after installing the Koni FSD's.
We've gotten close enough in price to go look at the Allegro Bus mentioned above. It needs tires. Has anyone replaced the 275X80RX22.5" tires with 295X75R.22.5" size? Reason I ask is that the local tire place said there were more makes/models to pick from in the 295X75R size. Theoretically, they are the same height/diameter.
Anybody have a .PDF of a 2004 Allegro Bus brochure? The Tiffin website only goes back to 2005.
Thanks for any insight/guidance.

We had a 2004 40DP. The only real changes for 2005 was that they raised the ceiling to give you a few more inches of headroom. They changed the style of the basement compartment latches. The DVD player/SATV receiever location was relocated from alongside the TV to the side cabinet over the copilot. IFS was offered as an option in 2005 but wasn't available in 2004. And, the engine block heater switch was relocated from the bedroom in 2004 to a relay controlled by a low voltage rocker switch on the driver's side console in 2005. No serious differences otherwise.

Replaced our tires with 295x75x22.5 16 ply. Same diameter and like you said more of a selection.

Thanks, guys, for the additional info. We looked at the 2004 Bus and it was a nice coach. That said, it could not overcome our predisposition to the Monaco products and we are redoubling our search efforts there.
Best,
