What's the consensus of the Magic Beds that come in the Tiffins? Are they comfortable to sleep on? Are they more comfortable that the Jack Knife beds?
I'm close to ordering a 2012 Allegro Bus and the options are either a Jack Knife Bed, Air Coil Sleeper Sofa or a Magic Bed.
We don't seem to like the Air Coil Systems so it's a toss up between a Jack Knife or a Magic Bed.
Thanks!

We really like the Air Coil Sleeper sofa in our 2008 bus. The kids have slept on it evey night we use the rig with no issues so far.

Magic Bed for sure over a jack knife. The jack knife is more for a low end unit such as a trailer or class C.
Being a flexsteel dealer, I hardly ever sell a jack knife, mostly Easy Bed's, Magic Beds or Sofa Sleepers.... Jack knife is what CW sells!

I have a Magic on one side and a Air over Coil on the other side.
IMHO the Magic is just a fancy jack knife style. Quick and handy but not NEARLY as nice a bed as the air over coil with the electric pump and dump. That is a FINE couch and I have had several visitors use it and liked it just peachy.
We actually swapped our king rear bed and all the PS side furniture for a queen size bed using the temper foam matress instead of the sleep number thing. We gained a lot of room around the bed and it's much easier to get to the cabinets and such along with larger end tables and drawers. The bed is more than large enough, and the extra space makes life better at least for us. If I were to order a new coach today I would do the same again.

The air coil is a very good bed. My mom sleeps in it when we travel and she likes it fine. The magic sofa is a very, very firm surface. Fine for kids and the occasional guest, for the air coil is a real bed. Takes very little time to set up or tear down.
