Mice (?) in motorhome ceiling

We have a 2013 Allegro 32AC. At night we hear the scratching and scurrying of mice, or some other critters, in our back wall and bedroom ceiling, nowhere else in the motorhome. We have put out a variety of traps, baits and pellets which go untouched, along with dryer sheets and mothballs. We don't know how or where they are getting in. Does anyone have some advice?

How about one of those sonic repellents? Worth a try.

There are not many ways for a mouse to into a ceiling, if it is a mouse. If you know anyone with a black light borrow it. Shine it around especially where floors meet walls. Mice urine is fluorescent under black light.
There is a sticky tape you can put down in various places that will trap any small critters. Good luck!!

Can we assume this occurs regardless of motorhome location (they are traveling with you)?

We've been in one place in Florida for four months and plan to be here two more. The unwelcome guests moved in about two weeks ago.

Could it possible be squirrels running around on the roof of the MH?

We had the same problem as the varmit was running around in our air conditioning ducts. I loosened the cover of the A/C unit and placed a trap resting on the 'vent'. Got 'em! No more varmits. Good Luck.

Welcome to IRV2 neighbor. At the top of the page you will see a search box, type in "critters" or "mice" and/or other such clue and many other posts on the subject will come up. As you become accustomed to the site you will find it a great source of RV information and at some point you will be able to help someone else out.

Don't put repellent and bait together the repellent keeps them away from the bait. We keep bait out all the time in hidden places like behind the hamper, under the sink and in the wet and electrical bays check them occasionally replenish when needed haven't seen a mouse in a long time so I guess it's working.
