Microwave Counter Light

We have only had our Allegro 32CA for less than a week. I noticed that while all the lights are LEDs, the only one that isn't is the one on the Microwave Vent, (shines down to the countertop). It's a filament bulb and I noticed it gets quite hot. Has anyone replaced it with an LED bulb? If so which one?

Find the bulb type. Look on eBay or Amazon for LED version. Get "temperature" of 5000-6000 Kelvin will yield a whiter light than under 4500-5000k.

There is a guy who has done the legwork for you.. I can find the link if you PM.

Just be aware, LED's don't like heat and will fail early. So I would check the temperature use range before buying them.

That bulb probably works from the 110AC with the microwave and fan assembly; all the other led lights work from 12 VDC.
There is no reason why you could not find a replacement LED for that type of bulb.

Replace bulbs on our Amana microwave a few years ago. Original bulb had a intermediate base E17. Hard to find LEDs with this base. Found this thread on the subject. Microwave 40 Watt Bulbs Converted to LED's
These light seem to always be on when we spend 5 months in the MH during the winter. No problems.
There are other threads on the subject. I used " E17 " in my search.

We've recently replaced all fixtures in our '98 with LED and this was the ONE we couldn't find. Thanks ronjhall for a helping hand.
