Mid coach TV

I have found that I don't use the mid-coach tv, anybody tried removing it and putting some sort of storage in its place?

When we had the Bus built, DW did not want the mid-TV so we asked Tiffin to replace it with an upper and lower pantry separated by a small decorative shelf. They did and it looks and works well, however, the change was not without problems.

The center TV is the master as far as the sound system. When it was removed, they had to put in two speakers to take the place of those lost by the TV's removal. To do this they installed one in the rear of the upper cabinets over the dinette and a second one in the bathroom wall high in the wall of the bottom cabinet in the bath. In addition, they had to install a sound bar behind the front TV. I'm not sure just how these speakers interface and why they had to do what they did, but we sat in the Bus during construction and were consulted on speaker and sound bar locations and speaker trim out.

Not sure of your layout, but it seems to me that you would pick up marginal storage "of stuff" (that you proably don't need there anyway, and you have been living just fine so far) that could impact resell at some point since most people would expect the TV to be there.

Seems to me that it's at times better just leave well enough alone.......

Regards
