mix to clean mirrors

I have heard mineral spirits and water do a good job on cleaning mirrors. Any experience and what is the ratio?
Thanks

Don 't know about that mixture, I don't think they would even mix?? What is used in cleaning eyeglasses though is isopropol alcohol and distilled water...1/4 alcohol to rest water...works real well on most glass, no residue ...and the alcohol will cut any oils etc...

Years ago (About 10) I visited a Window Tint place... I ask 'em how they clean before applying (Mandatory) and he said "We have a Kick Ass Glass Cleaner" and showed me a can of Stoner "Invisible Glass"

I showed him two more I had in the towed

Still have one left.

Best glass cleaner I've ever used, Beats windex hands down.

1/2 gallon water, 5-6 drops of Dawn dish washing liquid and 1/2 cup vinegar. No streaks, no smears, no cloudiness. Use a squeegee for best results. Works great on any glass or mirror.

This is the best stuff I have ever used. Did my 06 Ford truck 2 years ago and they are still spotless.

My brother who tints cars for a living, uses Reverse Osmosis filtered water, and alcohol, (the kind you buy in a can at big box home improvement stores). about a 75-25% mix. Cleans windows very well! he Very very seldom has defects under tint when he is done.
