New Member New RV
Purchased a new Tiffin Allegro 36LA last month. Looking forward to future trips. However, I've had to have Ford work on wiring for two weeks and then today drop it off at a dealer to search for a water leak in the roof.
Anyone else out there had to work with Tiffin with issues within the first month of purchase?

I bought a new Fleetwood Bounder on 10/24/2012, and it has been in the shop more than I've had it home, it is in the shop again now... In reading these forums it is a good idea to be extremely patient in the first year of ownership...

Welcome to the forum. Issues with new MH's are not just in Tiffin or any particular brand, but a nature of the beast.

Also purchased the Tiffin 36LA last month with only one minor trip to date. No major issues so far with either the house or chassis. It is going in for a bedroom slide adjustment, as the forward leading edge doesn't quite close compared to the rear leading edge and probably only needs an adjustment.
We are planning a two week trip coming up over the holidays with several different areas and parks so we'll see how that works out.
We specifically chose the Tiffin brand this time for a variety of reasons and just hope it works out with our decision. I see by your location that you would be fairly close to the Tiffin factory if any real, serious came up. On the other hand, we would have to travel 3,000 miles for the same option.
From prior experience of having a new Monaco gas unit and used Winnebago DP product, they all have some issues moving on down the pike. The Monaco lived in warranty status for the first year where the dealer had it more than us, but they did step up to the plate and took care of every item, to their credit.
Good luck with yours and let us know the progress so we can all benefit.
Enjoy the holidays!

Hate you're having issues, but they are an unfortunate part of RV ownership. If you have never had any issues.....you have not owned one long enough
Not sure where your water issues could be coming from as they seal the devil out of the caps and roof penetrations. Have you been up and looked at your roof? If not, take a look over your new rig, you may just solve your own problem.
Good luck.

Congratulations on a new RV, sorry to read of leaks. :(
We are renovating an old RV and searching out the leaks to fix them. I hadn't realized the problem is common with new ones too!

The 36LA was a new floorplan for the 2012 model year.
