We have a new 2010 Pheaton. We are getting ready to take a trip south. We live in Pa and it is in the 20's today. We tried to start our coach and it will not start. Is there an engine preheat and how do we turn it on?

Congratulations on your new coach. I can't say for sure on a Phaeton but on my Breeze there is an indicator on the instrument panel that goes out when the engine is ready to start. Turn the key on and look for something that looks like an upside down light bulb with a squigly wire in it. When that goes out it's ready to start. Good luck.

Yeah, we see that and it goes off but the engine won't start. It seems like the fuel is frozen and needs to be heated up. We can't find anything in the manual about a Block Heater. Very frustrated!

Hopefully you have your coaching going now.

Incase you do not,
On our 2010 Tiffin RED in the driverside rear electrical compartment (where 50amp power cord is stored) there is a power cord for the engine heater than needs to be plugged in. We have a 110 outlet right next to where the battery Trickle Charger is plugged.

You need to bring that baby south. That's coach abuse making it stay in the cold like.
