It's probably a matter of opinion and which nameplate the responder to the post has.

They are both quality motorhomes that are built using different manufacturing procedures.

We had a very good experience with our '07 Tiffin Open Road. That said, if you're one that prefers factory service, you'll not be able to get an appointment with Tiffin once the initial warranty has expired. You show up and get put on a "first come, first served" list. Some have sat there for weeks waiting to get into the shop.

Certain times of the year the Newmar factory service department will be booked out for weeks, maybe even a couple of months, but you'll be able to get a firm appointment and know you'll get into the shop on your appointed time.

Agree. When looking for our next used coach, both were on our list of brands. Our Tiffin came along with floorplan, equipment, condition, and price. Could as well have been a Newmar.

The floor plan and all the amenities are what sold us on the Tiffin LA36 Open road. I have had excellent service from Tiffin and all under warranty. I live in Ohio and plan on never going to Red Bay, AL for repairs.
